The run Star Hike High is Converse's radical reimagining of their signature silhouette, bridging the past and the future with a little bit of '90s rave culture flavor. The classic canvas Chuck High upper has been fitted with a foam platform midsole and an exaggerated black and gum rubber split ripple outsole. Standard Chuck details like the rubber toecap and Chuck Taylor ankle patch are still there alongside new touches like higher foxing, a SmartFOAM sockliner and a molded white star on the heel.
